About us

Six sites, one outfit.

Spur7 is built around horses and the outdoors, out of Colorado. We started with one site, learned what was actually hard to find, and built the next one better. Six in, that hasn't changed. Every site makes the one after it sharper, and none of them get left behind.

What we have built

6

Marketplaces

Board & Stable and SearchFarrier for horses, Whitewatr for rafting, SearchHuntr for hunting, GuideWatr for fishing, and TrailSendr for mountain biking. All six are live and free to search.

27,000+

Businesses listed

Barns, trainers, farriers, outfitters, and guides, each one checked before it goes on the site. Listings people can claim, correct, and keep current themselves.

50

States

Coverage is deepest where the work is: horses everywhere, rafting on the rivers that hold permits, hunting in the states that publish units.

5

Pro tools

Nearly every marketplace also has software for the business behind the listing: openings, customers, deposits, paperwork, staff, and what the season added up to.

Colorado

Where we are

One outfit, working out of Colorado. No call center, no sales team, and nobody between you and the person who can change the software.

Counts are approximate. Supply moves as we add and verify.

What working with us is like

Three things people notice.

01

You get a person

Write to us and a human writes back, usually the same day. Not a ticket number, not a chatbot, not somebody reading off a script.

02

Ask for something, get it

If the software doesn't do something you need, tell us. More often than not it's done that week, instead of sitting on a list somewhere.

03

Your information stays yours

Your customers and your records belong to you. Take them with you whenever you want. Staying should be your choice every month.

Write to us

hello@spur7.com

Goes to a person, not a queue.

There's no call center and no sales team. Email us and you're talking to the person who can change the thing you're asking about.

Common questions

What is Spur7?

Spur7 builds and runs six marketplaces for people who'd rather be outside: Board & Stable (boarding barns and trainers), SearchFarrier (farriers), Whitewatr (rafting outfitters), SearchHuntr (hunting outfitters), GuideWatr (fishing guides and charters), and TrailSendr (mountain bike trips). It also builds the software the businesses behind those listings run on.

Is it free to search?

Yes, all six sites are free to search, with no account required to look. There is nothing to pay to find a barn, a farrier, an outfitter, or a guide.

How many businesses are listed?

More than 27,000 across the six sites: over 6,000 boarding barns and 3,500 trainers, over 15,000 farriers, around 500 rafting outfitters, over 1,000 hunting outfitters, and 550 fishing guides. Counts are approximate and move as we add and verify.

I run a barn or an outfit. What does being listed do?

People searching for what you do find your listing and contact you directly. The inquiry goes to you, not into a queue we resell. Claiming a listing is free, there is no ad auction, and your placement does not disappear the month you stop paying.

What is Pro?

Pro is the software side. Nearly every marketplace has one, built for that kind of business: openings and calendar, customers and inquiries, deposits and payments, paperwork and signatures, staff and daily work, and records at the end of the season. Board & Stable Pro is at pro.boardandstable.com; the rest live inside their own marketplace.

Does Spur7 build anything for owners rather than businesses?

Two things. My Horse (my.boardandstable.com) keeps a horse's records in one place so you can hand them to a barn, a vet, or a buyer. From70 (from70.com) is run tracking for reining riders, including the runs no database has.

Where is Spur7 based, and how do I reach a person?

Colorado. Email hello@spur7.com and a person writes back, usually the same day. There is a form at spur7.com/contact if you would rather write more than an email fits.

Run a barn, a boat, or a truck?

Tell us what you're dealing with. We'd rather hear it from you than guess at it.
